Christmas light show brightens Providence; helps less fortunate families.

Vaderville Christmas Light ShowThe much-anticipated holiday tradition, the Vaderville Christmas Light Show, not only brings smiles to families in Providence, but also helps needy families have a brighter holiday by collecting donations for the Hilltop Church HOPE Bank. Created three years ago by Providence resident Darren Vader, the show quickly became the talk of the town and a new tradition for the growing number of residents in Providence.

It consists of three neighboring homes pulsating in-sync with more than 40,000 lights and special effects running on 80 computer-controlled channels of animation. Highlights include a virtual Santa, dozens of strobe lights, virtual snow machines and animated video clips, all synchronized to classic holiday songs. Vader and his neighbors have been hard at work on the show since early March. It is a sight to behold – and to enjoy. Vader takes pride in knowing that his passion provides so much joy and that the show allows him to give back to the community through its work with the HOPE bank.
